Thank you so much to the Judges, Karen Gordy, Lance Redgwell, Fiona Couchman and Auriga Martin - They had a hard job but got there in the end! Took them a couple of hours, had dinner (Thank you Fiona - Lamb Roast) then another two hours and a couple of bottles of wine later... presto we have our winners!
Their selections were fair and had no names or votes etc to sway them in anyway... it was a tough choice but they really wanted to hone in on Summer in South Wairarapa! They have done that perfectly!
So I had to have my say to... (of course she did) So I made a category... MV's Choice... This photo says it all for me... and once you see it - I hope you agree... dirty kids, happy, swimming, river, farm life... I love this image very much.
Now I need to thank the businesses who gave prizes - you guys - thank you so much! It doesn't take much and it puts a smile on everyone's faces. It's about promoting our region as a collective team, so thank you for that!
