"Spring is in the air - and so is jazz! Just like the buds on our apple trees that are almost ready to burst, our 7th annual festival of Jazz In Martinborough will blossom into view on 31 August and bring joy to all those who are lucky enough to be there.
I love listening to jazz. I read recently that evidence suggests our brains bind us to the music we heard as teenagers more tightly than anything we hear as an adult, and that this link doesn’t weaken as we age. Consider me as 'Exhibit A' in this theory! Between the tender age of 17 and 20 my best mate played a lot of jazz records when we hung out together and now it's pretty much all I listen to. It was a lucky escape really. Had I been less fortunate I could now be into some very Dire Straits indeed."

Thanks to Martin and the Jazz in Martinborough team for bringing this awesome spring festival to our region for the seventh year. We love the Jazz vibe as we say hello to spring, a time where the Village comes alive with music, chilled out good times and celebrations.
